Capcom has announced an exclusive new mode for the upcoming PC version of Resident Evil 6, as well as interesting new multiplayer DLC for all platforms.
“Siege” is an online multiplayer mode supporting between two and six players, wherein a “lone AI-controlled rookie BSAA agent” is in danger and requires your help to survive. Players are split into two teams: one assuming control of enemy creatures, while the other controls the playable protagonists. As the monsters aim to kill the rookie agent, the characters will try to save him. Each game consists of two rounds, and the teams switch between both sides.
“No Mercy” is a higher difficulty level within the Mercenaries mode exclusive to PC. It will ramp up the number of enemies, allowing players the chance to earn higher combos and scores.
Releasing in March, ‘Siege’ will be available on Xbox 360 and PS3 for 320 Microsoft Points or £3.19 ($3.99). The PC version of Resident Evil 6 is expected to arrive on March 22 worldwide.
