Battlefield 3 has continued to persist as the premier tactical shooter even after 2012’s new crop of yearly shooting games has come and gone. It is a true testament of just how great a game is that it can survive the yearly apocalypse placed upon their series. As a part of this refusal to die comes with it the fact that every once in a while the behemoth that is Battlefield 3 will require a tune-up to continue performing for the diehard fans who have made the series a success.
That is what players on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 can expect this Monday, January 28th, as DICE has explained that the servers for Battlefield 3 on both platforms will be undergoing some maintenance. What is going on is a server migration and there will be some players in the Southern US who are unaffected by their current leases on servers while the rest will have to renew theirs.
