Despite its late release, Ni No Kuni: Wrath Of The White Witch is enjoying some great sales in North America, where the game has been released a few days ago. With success usually come some distribution troubles and unfortunately that’s what’s happening with the special edition of the game, called Wizard’s Edition which includes many goodies and a Drippy Plushie and a book of magic among them.

This special edition was exclusive to Club Namco and it could only be bought online: thing is, some players have stated that they still haven’t received their copy and some even had their order cancelled without an explanation. Digital River has spoke about the issue today, apologizing for the situation: for some reason they have oversold the available stock and for this reason some players won’t be receiving the special limited edition, while some players will still be getting it at a later date, since some orders must still be shipped. All players who have had their order cancelled will be refunded.

It’s a bad situation but it should not be a reason to skip on such a great game. Ni No Kuni: Wrath Of The White Witch will be launching next week in Europe: some distribution issues prevented the game from a simultaneous western release.
