Being such a successful title, it’s only natural that Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2 would be getting some extra content. The new Revolution DLC pack is almost upon us, getting released next week on Xbox 360 and sometime in February for versions: the DLC pack will include 4 extra multiplayer mode maps, a new Zombie mode map with an interesting gameplay mode, where one player will be fighting against other player controlled zombies and a new weapon.

It was unclear if the new included weapon, called the Peace Keeper, a Sub Machine Gun, could be used only by players with a certain prestige level or by everyone: today David Vonderhaar of Treyarch, the game’s developer, said that the new weapon can be used by all players, as long as they can find it on the field. So no restrictions are being enforced and that’s definitely a good thing: no one want to spend money on extra content only to see some feature locked for some reason.

On a related point, this weekend will be a double XP weekend for Black Ops 2, starting on the 25th so you better take advantage of this special event and get ready for the DLC official launch.

Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2 is available on Ps3, Xbox 360, Pc and Wii U.
