There has been a lot of talk around the latest Suda 51 title called Killer is Dead. The game looks like it will include all the features the team is known for: femme fatales, killing, gore and an over the top action and plot. All these features will be brought to the max level, making all their other games, including the No More Heroes series look like child’s play.
The main character Mondo Zappa will be as wicked as the world he lives in: his right arm has been modified to be able to be turned into a gun, a drill and other weapons. He will also be able to absorb blood from his enemies to use a special attack which can kill enemies with a single blow.
The game will officially launch on Ps3 and Xbox 360 this summer in Japan but there hasn’t been any news for a possile western release. There are some news in for a North American version: it looks like XSeed has regsitered some domains for the game, a killerisdead-game and a killandlove.com domains. With these names, there’s hardly any doubt that they are related to Suda 51 game so more news will surely be coming in the next hours.
