Andrew Kim is a young korean, living in Canada, designer who has worked with a lot of high profile companies, working on the brands’ design and gaining international recognition for its minimalistic but effective works. Mister Kim also worked with Microsoft last year, when the company was looking for a new logo and brand for all its products, including Windows 8 and everything related to the company. Microsoft in the end used a different logo, but they probably haven’t forgotten about Andrew Kim since it’s been announced that he’s going to work for something related to the Xbox brand.
This new project was actually given to Kim last summer but work will begin only during Summer 2013: details are scarce since he only mentions some work for the Xbox brand design and nothing else: he’s probably going to work on the new Xbox brand which will probably be coming together with the yet to be announced next Xbox console.
This isn’t the first time Andrew Kim has worked in the industry: his first work for games actually date back to 2007 when he worked on God Of War 3. His latest work for the industry was with Naughty Dog, when he was concept artist for the second Nathan Drake adventure, Uncharted II.
