One of the most innovative features of the new Wii U console is indeed the Gamepad: a controller featuring an 8 inch touch screen making the controller almost like a tablet. Nintendo had promised some incredible things in the months to come but not too many developers were able to do something truly unique with it. Not that it’s a problem since it’s probably too soon and developers need to get acquainted with the new system. A new Gamepad Accessory Set has been recently announced, including a scree protector to protect the touch screen from scratches and dirt, a cleaning cloth which won’t be leaving anything bad on the screen and an extra stylus. It’s the perfect pack for all those players who always keep their delicate gaming equipment clean.
The Gamepad Accessory Set is priced at 12.99$ and it will be available starting February 4th: other similar accessories have been produced by other companies, such as the Horii screen protectors but given how few of them actually managed to get released outside Japan, the Accessory Pack will probably the only choice for North American and European gamers.
