If killing gods and fighting beasts and creatures inspired by Greek mythology is your thing, the God Of War series has been made just for you: developed by Sony Santa Monica Studios, the series has spawned three main line entries, a few spinoffs and a prequel, coming in just a couple of months. Gods Of War: Ascension will be detailing Kratos’ past, showing how he came to be the man we all know and his enemies hate.
The game will feature the typical action adventure formula of the series: Kratos will have quite a few weapons at his disposal to destroy his enemies and solve the many puzzles that will block his way: all the puzzles will be promptless and the experience overall more fluid. One of the new features of the game is going to be an extensive Multiplayer mode sporting a few game types like Favor Of The Gods, Capture The Flag and a few others. Players will have to choose a God which will protect them before entering battle. A Beta version for some of the multiplayer modes is available for PsPlus subscribers so if you’re one you can jump in the game right away.

God Of War: Ascension will be available exclusively on Playstation 3: the game will officially launch on March 12 in North America and March 13 in Europe.
