Despite some problems and a not too perfect port, Assassin’s Creed 3 has been doing nicely on the new Nintendo Wii U: the additions and gamepad’s implementation aren’t the best seen so far, but the game is as enjoyable as it is on the other platforms. One thing, however, set the Wii U version apart from the others, from a negative point of view: there were no news on the DLCs for the game, getting released for the other versions of the game but not for the Wii U one.

Ubisoft has finally confirmed that the extra downloadable content will be indeed coming on the console, starting next week. The Hidden Secrets pack will cost 5$, featuring all the contents that were offered as exclusive pre-order and special edition bonuses: the Ghost Of War, Mayan Ruins and A Dangerous Secret missions will be included, as well as the Redcoat and Sharpshooter multiplayer characters and the ship’s captain and Colonial Assassin single player costumes.

The Battle Hardened pack will be available for 10$ and it will include multiplayer content like the Cpypte Man, Governor and Highlander characters, and three new multiplayer maps.

Ubisoft has also announced that they will bring the “What If” extra scenario The Tyranny Of George Washington as well at a later date.
