If you’re have been on the fence about trying Akainero: Demon Hunters you may have more time to make your decision since the developers have decided to extend the beta period until next Tuesday, January 22. Akainero is quite an unique action role playing game, developed by Spicy Horse and currently seeking funds through Kickstarter.
The game’s story is based on an unique mix of Little Red Riding Hood with Japanese folklore and mythology: players will be constantly facing beasts, creatures and monsters inspired by ancient Japanese lore. The beta finally gives players a taste of the game, even though it includes elements still in developments which may be changing in the final version of the game: like character training, weapons enhancement and the Shiver Pines area, an area which is still in development, featuring imps as enemies, using ice magic to stop players in their quest.
