Namco Bandai is sparing no effort in promoting the newest game in Tales Of series, Tales Of Hearts R, despite the game getting released on a not so popular platform, the Sony PsVita: given how popular the series is in Japan, Sony will be probably try to push the game together with Namco Bandai so to improve the console sales, just like it was with Persona 4 Golden release last year.

Tales Of Hearts R is the remake of Tales Of Hearts, released back in 2004 on Nintendo DS: the remake will have a slew of new features like full voice acting, 3D graphics, improved gameplay, new dungeons and characters, new story events and some features implemented to make the best use of the touch screen controls like the Chase Link mode, which will launch the enemies in the air and allow some fancy comboing.

Some new video have been made available, a Japanese Television Ad and a new gameplay video featuring the combination special attacks called Dual Mystic Artes, originally introduced with Tales Of Rebirth and present in the latest games like Tales Of Xillia 1 and 2. You can watch the video here and here.

Tales Of Hearts R will launch in Japan at the beginning of March on PsVita: no news on a western release, but fans are trying to make Namco Bandai see that there’s demand for the game in the west through a petition and a Facebook Fan Page.
