After being officially announced for the West, the latest Naruto game developed by CyberConnect 2 called Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 has been getting some new features revealed, courtesy of the japanise magazine Famitsu. The game will expand on the formula of the previous entry of the series, featuring over 80 playable characters, new attacks for all the character, an improved Awakening mode which allows characters to boost their stats and slightly change their movesets, an extensive story mode and an Ultimate Decision Mode which allows for alternative storylines. The assist character system will be back as well with more combos available. Boss fights will be improved as well, requiring a good degree of strategy to be completed.
Thanks to Famitsu, we finally know that we will be able to use Naruto’s most powerful form: our young Ninja will be able to transform into the Tailed Beast mode, become incredibly huge and dishing out some serious damage on the opponents.
Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 will released on March 5 and March 8 in North America and Europe respectively: the game will come with some special editions containing exclusive bonuses. All preoders will also receive a special costume DLC, containing a Son Goku of Dragonball fame for Naruto.
