The God And Fate Revolution Paradox is one of the games scheduled for release this year that will celebrate Nippon Ichi 20th anniversary: the game is currently being developed by the D4 team, responsible for the Disgaea games, and it will be available on Ps3 sometime this year. The game stars Renya Kagurazaka, an ordinary high scholl girl who actually happens to become god and will have to make people happy. Aiding her in her godly endeavor are seven angels which will help the new god overcome difficulties and defeat demons trying to get in her way. The game will be a mix between strategic rpgs and dungeon crawler games, using high definition two dimensional sprites, with character design handled by Noizi Ito, who is best remembered for having worked on the Haruhi Suzumiya series.
It’s been announced today that together with the already mentioned characters, familiar faces from the Disgaea series will be making cameo appearances: Asagi has already been confirmed with screenshots with Raspberyl and Valvatorez from Disgaea 3 and 4 have been teased with some not too clear artworks.
The God and Fate Revolution Paradox will be hitting Japan sometime this year: no news on a western release yet but, given how the company’s games have been doing great lately, we can expect an announcement anytime.
