Dragon’s Dogma is an action role playing game developed and published by Capcom during last year on Ps3 and Xbox 360: the game takes a page from western role playing games, adding a new twists to the action role playing game formula. One of the game’s main game play features is the Pawn system which controls the other party members: while one of the characters will be one from the game’s world, the other two are NPC characters borrowed from other players. The other characters in the party won’t just be fighting blindly since they’ll be able to leave hints about the environments and the enemies, not too differently from the …Souls series.
A new expansion for Dragon’s Dogma called Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen has been announced some time ago and today it’s been dated, at least for Japan, where the expansion will be released on disc: among the new features are a new Hard diffculty setting available for the main game as well, Japanese voice over option, new enemies, armor, weapons and a new exclusive dungeon located in Bitterblack Isle.
Dark Arisen will be released on April 25 in Japan at retail: no news for the western version of the expansion. Given how Dragon’s Dogma was launched worlwide on the same time, we can expect the expansion DLC to hit our Nort American and European versions around that date.
