Dead Island Riptide is starting to pick up some momentum, with the recently announced ‘Rigor Mortis’ edition for the NA region, a lot of people are starting to get intrigued by the game. The Rigor Mortis edition didn’t really appeal to me, it had some cool stuff in the package, but not enough to warrant my purchase. The UK will be getting a special edition of their own, that will have a lot of people in shock. The special edition, titled ‘Zombie Bait’, will come with a lifelike mangled torso. The special object can work for some people, but with others, you might not have a good place to put the torso.
If you have a good spot where you keep all your cool video game collectibles, this could fit in with your collection nicely. The torso will be 31 cm high, and will only be available for the Xbox 360 version of the game. PS3 owners will be out of luck, or you could just pick up both copies and sell off the 360 copy, and keep the statue. This could go well, or it could go horribly wrong. Dead Island Riptide will arrive in the UK on April 26, and I’m sure the game will do well.
