New day, new rumors about the next gen. There’s not a single day lately that passes without hearing something new about the new Sony and Microsoft consoles. And every time we’re looking at some unconfirmed info. Today, however, the information comes from Game Informer and can be considered a little bit more reliable: according to the magazine the next gen consoles won’t be unveiled during this year E3 in June, but through some special conferences which will be held in March, around the time of the Game Developers Conference.
Both companies are actually looking at the Apple’s way of doing the unveiling in preparing their conferences: this information actually falls in line with another rumor that was circulating yesterday. Colin Sebastian, a Baird Anaylist, stated that this year’s E3 would be one of the most important happenings for the industry this year but both companies are looking for a way to stay in the spotlight by themselves, and that can only happen if the unveilings come outside such events.
Almost everything that’s know right now about the next gen consoles comes from rumors, even their names: speculations go wild without any confirmed info and an unveiling coming in less than two months would put an end to the costant stream of rumors we’re seeing in recent days.
