Starcraft 2 is definitely receiving more attention from Blizzard in these last months, with the launching of StarCraft 2: Heart Of The Swarm coming closer and closer. The update will introduce many new features and Blizzard has focused all their efforts in making this expansion one to remember for all Starcraft 2 players. In a new blog post on Battle.net, Blizzard introduces a new renaming feature for all characters in Starcraft 2.
Some time ago it was announced that there would be a paid name change service introduced into the game, allowing players more freedom in changing their name. Another free name changing service was also introduced but it required some time before having the new name approved and not too many players used this feature.
The new free name change feature is now live and another change to the feature will be going live together with the new Clans features coming in the next couple of months.
If you want to change your characters’ names, just go into account management, select the Starcraft 2 license and click on the name change option.
StarCraft 2: Heart Of The Swarm will be available on March 12, 2013: the new expansion will introduce new single player and multiplayer features, together with an all new storyline starting from where the last expansion ended.
