It looks like Resident Evil Revelations may have been leaked, thanks to a recent report listing the game’s Xbox 360 achievements. The achievement list titles the game as Resident Evil Revelations: Unveiled Edition, and it actually looks pretty legit. Revelations was one of the 3DS’ top games when it was first released back in February, it would make a lot of sense that Capcom would do a remake for the current gen consoles. Late last year, there was a listing for Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of Revelations on a Korean ratings board, but Capcom has not commented on it yet.
We know that this is just speculation, but you can’t argue with my enthusiasm. RER was and still is one of the best 3DS games out there, a lot of people would even take the portable game over Resident Evil 6. It seems that during this console generation, we’ve seen a ton of HD ports and remakes. So this wouldn’t be all that surprising in my book. Hopefully Capcom will release details about the speculated port, and hopefully they’ll make it official. Maybe they’re planning something for E3 2013, who knows. I am a huge fan of Resident Evil, and I hope the rumors will actually to fruition.
