Fist Of The North Star: Ken’s Rage 2 is the sequel to the first Ken’s Rage title, developed and published by Tecmo Koei. Anime fans will surely know about Hokuto no Ken, one of the most famous series from the 80s, set in a post apocalyptic world where violence is the only law. The first game followed the manga’s storyline faithfully but the game was riddle with quite a few issues: the gameplay experience was way too repetitive and overall very slow. In Ken’s Rage 2 most of these issues will be addressed.

Ken’s Rage 2 will follow the manga’s storyline even more closely, adding some more characters while tweaking all the old ones: more skills and attacks will be added into the game, as well as stages and extra play modes. During the single player campaign players will be able to play with other characters as well, while during the first game Kenshiro was the only characters available during the main story mode. Ken’s Rage 2 will also include an all new What If mode, allowing players to play through stages with other characters.

Ken’s Rage 2 was set for a February 1 release in Europe: Tecmo Koei has announced, however, that the game will be slightly delayed, getting release 6 days after the original release date, on February 7. The game will be available on shelves on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3: the Wii version will only be available on the eShop.
