The best way to defeat the Ancient Gods of Greece is to way some godly weapons at your disposal: Kratos is ready, like always, but what about the players? Thanks to Sony, even normal players like us will be armed to the best, with a special edition Dual Shock 3 coming together with the latest entry of the God Of War series, God Of War: Ascension.
God Of War: Ascension is a prequel to the whole series, chronicling Kratos’ past battles and how he became who he is. Together with the single player campaign featuring the typical God Of War action adventure gameplay formula, the game will also introduce multiplayer mode for the first time in the series, with a few different play modes: if you wish to try out some of the multiplayer modes which will be included into the final game and you’re a Playstation Plus Subscriber you can download and play a Beta version of the game.
The game will be available worldwide, exclusively on Playstation 3, on March 14, two months from now: the game will be coming together with a special dual shock 3, designed specifically for the game. You can check an image of the special controller below.
