F1 Race Stars is a kart racing game developed by industry veterans Codemasters, released during November 2012 on Playstation 3, Xbox 360 Pc and Wii U. The game is loosely based on the recently ended Formula 1 season, with circuits built to resemble real Formula 1 tracks with some twists like shortcuts, loops and so on. Being based on the real Formula 1 Championship and being a spin off of the regular Formula 1 Official Game, developed by Codemasters as well, players will be able to play as cartoonish versions of real pilots like Sebastian Vettel and Fernando Alonso.
Earlier today Codemasters has announced, with a post on the team’s official blog that four new tracks are now available for download: the four packs are called Canada Track Pack, China Track Pack, India Track Pack and Europe Track Pack. Each one of these packs will feature tracks with peculiar features: a track full of ice and snow for the Canadian Pack, a track with dragons, water gardens and the Great Wall for the China Pack, mountain passes, ruins and temples for the India pack, and a port setting together with docks, ice and flying tomatoes for the Europe Track, with the race being set in Valencia, Spain.
The extra track packs are now available on Xbox Live Marketplace for 400 Microsoft points and on Steam for €4.49 / £3.59 / $4.99. They will be available starting tomorrow on the Playstation Network for €4.49 / £3.59 / $4.99.
