After a great year for the Playstation Plus Service, 2013 is already shaping up to be another nice year of weekly offers and free games. Ever since the service launched it offered a great value for its price, offering triple AAA titles for free and discounts on recently released titles. In the last months of 2012 the Ps Plus service was launched on PsVita as well, increasing the overall service value.

Today the Ps Plus offers have been updated for North American players: Nba Jam: On Fire Edition for Ps3 and Chronovolt for PsVita have been added last week and are still available. Among the new stuff is the multiplayer beta for the latest entry of the God Of War series, God Of War: Ascension and Megaman 9 and 10.

God Of War: Ascension is a prequel to the whole series, featuring a younger Kratos and detailing his backstory, showing how he became the Kratos we know and love. For the first time in the series, Ascension will feature an online multiplayer mode: included in the Beta version are the Team Favor Of The Gods and the Favor Of The Gods mode.

Megaman 9 and 10 are offered as a combo pack: both games retain the 8 bit style of classic Megaman games, together with the high difficulty level. Both games will be free for all PsPlus subscribers.

Among the new discounts is a 50% off Eufloria and the NCAA Football 13: Recent Winners Pack DLC, free for all Ps Plus’er.
