If you were wondering what Sony had in store for gamers this 2013, you won’t have to wonder for too much longer. Sony has announced that they will be holding a press event they call Destination Playstation from February 25th to the 28th. They plan on revealing their upcoming releases this year for the Playstation 3 and Playstation Vita systems.
The press might be seeing more than just games though, as there have been rumors that Sony plans on unveiling their successor to the PS3, or at least a little teaser. There has already been many speculation surrounding the Playstation 4 and its technical specs, such as the recent rumor of the PS4 not being able to play used games. Especially with talk of Microsoft revealing a possible Xbox 720 at this year’s E3, Sony might very well capitalize on this opportunity to build up anticipation for gamers to invest in a PS4 rather than an Xbox 720.
