Ghost Recon: Future Soldier is the fifth installment of the Ghost recon series: released back in May on Ps3 and Xbox 360, the game was also released on Pc on June 27. The game os a third person shooter with a futuristic theme and nicely developed plot.
The game plays like a modern third person shooter with an over the shoulder view allowing for precise aiming: players can also choose to play the game in a first person view mode for even better aiming possibilities. The game also has some light strategic elements since players will have to guide other computer controlled team members, as well as unmanned drones. The game also has a few multiplayer modes, including competitive and cooperative modes.
The Ps3 and Xbox 360 versions received a fair amount of updates, addressing some of the game’s issues: Ubisoft announced todays that a new update for the Pc version will come next week, on January 8. The 1.6 Update will improve the online portions of the game as well as adding some more content: two extra night time multiplayer maps, a new Hardcore mode for the single player campaign and a few fixes. This update will also bring all the fixes released for the console versions.
