CD Projekt Red the developers behind the Witcher franchise will be showing off their new project for the first time sometime next week. CD Projekt Red’s PR rep for Cyberpunk 2077 announced on twitter that he has watching the trailer multiple times and that it will be officially released next week.
For those who don’t know Cyberpunk 2077 is a game that will take all the best qualities of the Witcher franchise and put them in a game set in a cyberpunk universe. The game is scheduled to be released for PC and the next generation of consoles according to CD Projekt Red.
This game is one of my most anticipated games, because I loved the interaction, choices, and world set up in the Witcher 2, but I prefer a cyberpunk setting; so this game is really up my alley. I am actually surprised they would be releasing a trailer for the game this soon, as the game has been rumored to be released sometime in 2014 or even 2015.
But maybe the game is coming sooner than expected, considering they may have their hands tied from giving an official release window because the next generation of consoles doesn’t have a “official” release window either.
