Nintendo seem very confident with their new baby, promising lots of high quality Wii U games to play in 2013. Already the console has seen a decent launch line-up of 24 games, and the good news is that we can expect Nintendo to maintain a strong momentum into the year.

Nintendo UK’s James Honeywell spoke to Official Nintendo Magazine, assuring that there is still a strong line-up of games to come with “a really strong Q1″. He mentioned Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge and Sing Party heading to Europe, as well as Monster Hunter 3: Ultimate for both North America and Europe.

Honeywell also mentioned E3, stating his confidence that it “will be another great show and there will be lots of fantastic titles to come”.

He also neglected to mention Rayman Legends and Lego City Undercover, which are more interesting games releasing in Q1. Shortly after that, we can expect Pikmin 3 in Q2, and Bayonetta 2 may well see a 2013 release.

As someone who looks for an excuse to turn on the Wii U every day, I’m greatly anticipating seeing all these games as well as more surprises at E3. A new Mario and/or Zelda is also possible, and then there’s also the secret game developed by the collaboration of Miyamoto and Retro Studios.
