Warner and TT Games are collaborating to create a brand new original Lego franchise, Lego: Legends of Chima. The new property is set to tie in with a new Lego toy range based on a “land inhabited by different magical animal tribes.”
The franchise is planned to spawn not one, but three games. Lego Legends of Chima: Speedorz is a “racing mini-game” planned for release today on Lego.com and tomorrow on iOS. Lego Legends of Chima: Laval’s Journey, is a 3DS and Vita title coming later this summer and DS in the fall, promising an “amazing adventure” and starring an anthropomorphic lion warrior called Laval.
Finally we have Lego Legends of Chima Online, a free-to-play “online world” from WB Montreal that is also due to release this fall. It will allow players to build their own weapons and structures and interact with other Chima characters.
