A while back before all the craziness from the Mass Effect 3 ending occurred, a Mass Effect anime was announced. Well today we found out that is still in the works, as a trailer for the first chapter of the Mass Effect movie Paragon Lost was shown. After watching the trailer I have to say, I think a lot of people will be disappointed with the movie.
Instead of focusing on something a lot of people might want to see like the rachni wars or Aria’s back story, we get a story focused on James Vega past. One of the most controversial characters put into Mass Effect 3 is getting an entire anime movie dedicated to him.
I will say that I was one of the people who did not think his inclusion in Mass Effect 3 was going to be a positive thing; but I was pleasantly surprised by how well his story fit into the game. However, I still don’t believe he is an interesting enough character to base a whole animated movie about.
