Final Fantasy is one of those names in gaming that everyone knows and everyone has an opinion of. In fact, the name Final Fantasy was holy, untouchable stuff for many, many years where no bad word could be uttered against the name Final Fantasy without incurring the wrath of the gaming gods. Of course, a lot has changed over the past few years and a slew of games with the Final Fantasy title have come out and have received some truly awful receptions, leaving a once untouchable game series in shambles.
All hope is not lost, though, as Squaresoft has been doing a good job of releasing some of their classic titles for mobile devices, and just recently Final Fantasy IV was released for iOS and the launch trailer at the end announces that Final Fantasy V “and more” are soon on their way. So it is a good day, once again, to be a fan of Final Fantasy.
