Microsoft, along with developer 343 Industries, has just announced the release date for arguably Microsoft’s biggest franchise! Yep, Halo 4 now officially has a release date.

In the latest post in Halo’s Waypoint site, Microsoft has revealed that the game will be out on Nov. 6, which is a Tuesday.

Of course, they wouldn’t officially unveil a “big” game’s official release date without a proper press statement and lucky for us they did!

Phil Spencer, Microsoft studios boss had this to say regarding the matter.

“We are beginning a new saga with ‘Halo 4’ and embarking on a journey that will encompass the next decade of ‘Halo’ games and experience…Millions of fans worldwide have been eagerly awaiting the opportunity to step back into the boots of Master Chief, and with ‘Halo 4’ leading the charge, we’re confident 2012 will be the most successful year in Xbox history.”

Aside from this, Microsoft has also released a new video of Rooster Teeth’s “Red vs. Blue” series in commemoration of this occasion.

Anyone excited to start “finishing the fight” once again? Halo 4 will be out on Nov. 6 exclusively for the Xbox 360.
