It is fall gaming season, which means tons of new games get released after a pretty slow summer of waiting for the big boys to drop and it also means sales galore to try to get you to buy as much as possible during this our consumer holiday season. It used to be the day after Thanksgiving, but as retail outlets tried to outdo each other in holiday sales and the recession hit and people decided not to spend frivolously, retail outlets had to get more and more crafty with their sales. Of course, it isn’t all bad, because if you have the money, it means you’ll be getting some good value. A thread popped up at NeoGAF recently talking about a sale for some of the Sony PS3 Collections for all PowerUp Rewards members at GameStop here in the US.
Most of those Sony PS3 Collections are a damned good deal in gaming regardless of sales, but if you haven’t picked some of them up and for some reason gave in to your local GameStop’s incessant; “Are you a PowerUp Rewards Members?” line of questioning every time you go in and actually have a card, make use of it!
