It seems Nintendo have decided to go mad on their YouTube channel today, with tons of new trailers for all the upcoming big hits for the 3DS. That’s because there was a new Nintendo Direct today, focused entirely on Nintendo’s beloved 3D handheld.

After the mammoth 3DS-themed Nintendo Direct episode three weeks ago, its surprising to see Nintendo continue to push 3DS promotion. A nice surprise, nonetheless!

First up, we have a new trailer for Paper Mario: Sticker Star. Bowser appears to return as the main villain this time around, after the role was given to the Shadow Queen and Count Bleck in the previous two instalments. The Koopa King causes havoc at the “Sticker Fest” event, presumably before kidnapping Princess Peach. I know its a long shot, but I have a feeling that may very well be a new plot twist in this game.

In the latest Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask trailer, we see the Professor and his young assistant enjoying a festival in Monte D’or, before a masked figure lifts a curse and spoils all the fun. With all the town’s citizens turned into statues, Layton and Luke appear to enlist a new female character for help. Much of the trailer is comprised of the beautiful animated story cutscenes, but there’s much gameplay to be seen as well.

There is also a Sizzle Reel trailer for Nintendo eShop games. We previously reported on Pushmo sequel Fallblox, which is now named Crashmo in the US. Footage on the trilogy of Level-5 games (Liberation Maiden, Aero Porter and Crimson Shroud) are also on display, as well as some Virtual Console gems such as Zelda II, Wario Land 2 and Ninja Gaiden, among others.

There’s also a bizarre Japanese game called Tokyo Crash Mobs, the promising Fluidity: Spin Cycle and two games from developer Nicalis (the geniuses behind Cave Story), NightSky and Ikachan.

Not enough? How about some Fire Emblem Awakening and New Super Mario Bros. 2 DLC trailers, too? Also, the Animal Crossing 3DS title has now been renamed from “Jump Out!” to “New Leaf“. You can check out our previous coverage of the game here.
