The current generation of portables has seen a considerably dull start, with little reason to switch on both the 3DS and PS Vita. Nintendo seems set on changing that, as there are over a dozen 3DS titles on their way next year in this trailer alone.
The “Nintendo 3DS Sizzle Reel” showcases the big Nintendo names, such as Paper Mario: Sticker Star, Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon, Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask and Fire Emblem Awakening.
Also featured:
- Scribblenauts Unlimited 3DS
- LEGO Lord Of The Rings
- Disney Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion
- Sonic And All-Stars Racing Transformed 3DS
- PES 2013 3D
- Adventure Time: Hey Ice King: Why’d You Steal Our Garbage?
- Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate
- Etrian Odyssey IV: Legends of the Titan
- Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate
While you may heard of all those games before, the trailer shows a lot of new footage. Layton and Luke are faced against an intimidating masked lunatic that is gliding over their heads in one of the sweet animated cutscenes and an intriguing puzzle featuring a ladybird in a maze is revealed.
We see more of the Zelda-style dungeons in Adventure Time, as well as some of Jake’s abilities. Luigi is also seen floating upwards with a balloon in his vacuum, presumably to reach higher areas in the mansion.
Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon is a day one purchase for me. What’s your favourite 3DS game in the trailer?
We have more 3DS news and trailers to come, so stay tuned!
